I agree on those Pros..
As for Cons.. they have horrible customer service.. and if something DOES happen to your bag, you're basically screwed..

Cons: JMO I don't think they look nice and they are not Italian made. If I am going to spend the money on a leather bag I rather it be made in Italy.

And I do have a problem with that. I think the best Italian Leather bags are handmade in Italy. JMO

I have two and I love them.
I really wore my first one out-- I am trying to find a place that can spruce it up-- but this is also the one that has been copied to death, so I am wondering if I should just sell it.. But I still do love it. I got it in Fall of 2004 and wore the thing out. I stopped using it the beginning of last summer.
My other one is like 6 months old--so it's still fairly new. Looks great- just like the day I bought it.
You can get a deal on a Kooba at a sample sale-- DO NOT pay retail for one. Or for any bag really.

Initially I had the Sienna bag-- pictured here, in the cognac color on the bottom.

you can DEFINITELY get the real deal on eBay. just check the sellers feedback first.
here are some tips for finding the real deal - the inside zipper (on the zippered compartment) on a real Kooba is tapered. it starts out thin (on the side) and gets thicker towards the bottom. Make sure there is a brown Kooba tag attached with a shimmery BROWN string. any other color string and it might be fake.
you can get an AMAZING deal on Kooba bags on eBay. just always check the sellers rating!

I don't sell knock offs - ever- I hate them
there is a great tip section on ebay about fake kooba's- let me see if I can find it

Look for sample sales here... It's usually in a large warehouse type location on 36th St. They have other things besides bags there and may have limited styles.

I have 3 Koobas....all purchased at the sample sale. I would never pay full price as they are more than half off at the sale.
Overall I really like the bags.
I have 2 cons. First I have the Lucy in white and it got really dirty looking really really fast (like a couple of weeks) and I have yet to find someone who can clean it. Second, I have the Ada and it weighs a ton - even with nothing in it.
Those 2 things aside I would still purchase another at the next sale....but I stick to dark colors.

I have 4 kooba bags and I love them all, I am completely addicted!!!!!
My newest one is the Brynne in black.
I've hit up the sample sales as well as Saks Off 5th.. you can usually get a good deal there.
Beth where do you find such good deals to list on ebay???
