How do you address administrators?

How do you refer to your administrators?

Mr/Mrs/Ms?
By first name?

In florida we called each other by first name. I have to send an email to my new prinicpal and I don't know how I should address him.

I have always addressed my principal and my reading coordinator by their first names. But if it is someone high up (superintendent) I call them mrs/mr.

I always address my principal by her first name unless we are in front of children

and like the other poster said...someone higher up I was address them as Mr/Mrs/Ms

I agree with the others but I may address a new principal as Mr/Mrs/Ms if I haven't established a relationship with him/her.

I always use Mr./Ms./Dr. until I've established a relationship with my admin

always as Mr./Mrs. - however, I think I am in the minority in my building.

When I met with my new principal and AP earlier this summer, they told me to call them by their first names so I will (except in front of kids). Otherwise, I would use last names until told otherwise.

Started with Mr. and now I call them all by their first names. Sometimes it's a little weird. In the hallway, they are always Mr.

It depends on the person and how they introduce themselves. It took me a year to call my principal by her first name.
