Anyone know anyone looking to rent an apt?

We're nice (we smile a lot!), we're clean, no smoking, no pets, we don't require a lot of space - but we DO require cable and internet and a/c and utilities included.

Suffolk is a must. As west as Northport, east as Holbrook. North shore as opposed to south (for job/commuting purposes).

Looking to stay around 1000/mo, give or take a little.

I've been checking Craig's List - I will absolutely NOT pay a broker's fee unless we're desperate.

Looking to move in October 1 or November 1. Would prefer Nov 1, but if owner requires, we could swing Oct 1.

Have you looked at any of the complexes?

We live in one in Holbrook and really like it. Heat and Hot water are included. You just have to pay cable and electric. Our electric bill last month was $46 w/ the AC on - the highest it has been all summer was $76

Check out Enchantede Manor on Smithtown Blvd in Nesconset. right by the Watermill. I'll look for the number for you. Hopefully I still have it.

we are potentially giving up our apt., but its in garden city and 1200 a month. so i am no help, but good luck in your search. check newsday, that is how i found this.

ETA:

It's Levittown but it's not too far into Nassau and so close to major roads. Chances are it's the upstairs of a Levitt cape which is sooo small, but worth a look.

West Babylon is GREAT! I commuted to the N.Shore for a while and had zero problems. There's a brokers fee, but again, worth a look... you might even be able to neg. the fee...

We live in Holbrook....I am sure you can find something good here. We found a fair amount on craiglist.

But you may not be able to get cable, etc included. We ONLY pay cable, internet and phone and our electric and that is good.

I live in the Enchanted Manor complex on smithtown blvd in Nesconset...it's 1150 a month, small and private. Central air and close to 347 and the LIE. I love it here!
