how much $ to bring?
We are going to an all inclusive resort in Cancun this week for 7 nights. Tips and airport transfers and tours/excursions are included.
How much money do I bring with us anyway???? I'm not bringing souvenirs home for anyone and we're not going to go clubbing or anything outside of the resort.

i would use a credit card wherever possible (unless the place looks shady) and then just bring cash for tips!

I would bring $300 and use credit cards for everything I could.

We probably brought $200 in cash. $100 of it in singles for tips (I always tip even though it's included).

I was thinking about $200.
Everything's already paid for so it would just be incidentals and about $100 in extra tips I would think...

We got 8 excursions included in our price. We're going to stay at the resort and just do 2 or 3 of the tours arranged thru the resort. I really don't think we're going to pay for much out of pocket

If your not planning on buying anything, or doing any excursions that you have to pay for then i would bring around $500.
We brought around $800, and used $50 for tips......Bought everyone gifts....and still had a good amount left.

I agree. A lot of time if you pay on a credit card you get the best conversion rate.
The only thing used cash for while we were there was one excursion that we did, some gifts for family and a lot of tipping!
