was she your MOH? I have 4 sisters, and one cousin(who has no sisters) who I was extremely close with. I chose one of my sisters, and I think it rubbed my cousin the wrong way. So for her wedding, a friend was MOH, I was BM. I know it is hard, but try to shrug it off. I perfer BM, not as many duties as MOH.

I haven't decided yet what to do about my MOH situation...I still have some time to decide. Wedding is in November 06. I was planning on asking her and my sister but now I don't know

I could see why you're upset. I would try to see it as a difficult choice for her and not take it personally. I had a conversation with my bf regarding her MOH situation. I knew she was closer to me than any of her friends, but also knew that she had a friend since elementary school. I told her that I know I'm her best friend and bc the elementary school friend would be hurt, I'm ok if she chooses her. She was relieved.

There could be a number of reasons why she chose her friend to be the MOH over you. One is that maybe the friend is closer to her & her FH as a couple. It doesn't mean she doesn't value you or you wouldn't be a BM.

Oh and I would stick with your original plans for your wedding.
