It's been a while since I've followed a workout routine, but I'm finally back at the gym, but am finding it hard to put together a routine to get back in shape.

My goals are to lose 12lbs and gain muscle. I have limited time to spend in the gym...4x per week...1 hour each session. Maybe longer if I go at night or on the weekend, but that is not always possible.

I'd love to hire a trainer to get me started, but I'll be honest...I really don't want to spend that kind of money.

I've been using the weight machines, but I don't know how much I should be increasing the weight each workout or should I be increasing the reps???? How do I fit in cardio when I have such limited 'gym' time????

Can anyone help me put together a program???
