one of my friends had it done-she always is dyin/highlightin her hair
her hair looks awesome now too-the good thing is that it leave ur hair in such GOOD condition-w/o flattening it out.

I actually just had Brazilian Keratin Treatment (BKT) done on Saturday and I love it. I posted on the Fashion board that one part of my ends were really dry after I washed my hair, but it was unrelated to the BKT. I went back to my stylist and he just said I needed a deep conditioning. Had that done and now those ends are perfect.
BKT is fantastic. I have super curly hair (like Keri Russell when she was on Felicity). My hair hasn't frizzed once even with all this heat and humidity.

Thats great! I have super fine hair but alot of it and it has a bit of a weird wave/curl to it. And I feel like my hair always looks fried when I finish blow drying it and flat ironing it. And then the minute I step out side it frizzes right up. My hair stylist suggest brazilian today and I have an appointment to do it on Tuesday. I am just a little nervous. I want my hair to look shiny and natural but still have some body to it. Is that how yours feels?

To be honest, my hair had a lot more body before I got the BKT done and it does seem a lot flatter than it did before. However, I feel like if I put product in it and blow-dryed the roots with a round brush, it would have more volume. Also, part of the reason I used to have a lot of volume is because my hair always starts to frizz at the root 
As for how my hair feels/looks, it is REALLY shiny and very soft even when I couldn't put any products in it or wash it for the first 4 days. Definitely give it a shot. It lasts for about 3-5 months (longer if your hair is damaged or colored I think), so if you don't like it, it's not like you're stuck 
ETA: I got stuck in the rain today with no umbrella. My hair got wet, but didn't frizz or curl!

I don't mind at all! But I actually don't know how much I paid because I also got a cut and highlights the same day, and I didn't get an itemized receipt. I think it might be in the $250-350 range though?

Okay, I just wanted to get an idea, thank you. It will cost me $200 just wanted to know if that was an average price. I think I am just going to go ahead and do it since it lasts around 4 months and if I dont like it, I dont have to do it again  . Thanks for all the information, I really appreciate it!!!

Well, I had it done today. It is so shiny and soft and straight!!!!I have no idea how I am going to go 4 days without washing it, putting it up in a pony tail or even tucking it behind my ears especially in this weather. I cant wait to wash it and see how it really looks!!!!

I have hair a little longer than shoulder length and the whole process took a little over 2 hours. They told me it lasts for about 4 months--give or take depending on your hair.

YOur a better person than me....It has been about 10 hours and I am ready to scream because I cant put it up or even clip it back!!!!!!
