i am just pricing out things as of now. If i chose to go that route it may be better if i purchase one myself.. but i just wanted to know the price

I believe (I could totally be wrong thought!) it was about $45 a month...you can call there and ask to speak with the lactation consultant and she can give you more information...

Re: medula pump rentals at st charles
I was actually thinking about renting one, I asked my doctor and she told me it's about $50.00 month so it pays just to buy one

it really does pay to buy if its that much. unless i rent it for a month and see if the baby will take it from the bottle. i know some babies who only want the breast and not the bottle so who knows

Re: medula pump rentals at st charles
I think it's around $50 a month too, and you have to buy the kit to go with it, which I don't remember the cost of, but I think it was around $40 or so maybe?
We are breastfeeding, but I wanted to start pumping too, and we called the lactaction consultant there (Eileen) when DD was around 3 weeks to see about renting, and she didn't have any left, they had all been rented out. She also said it made more sense $ wise to buy a pump, in her opinion (she is SUPER nice and helpful). So we bought one.
So hopefully if you want to rent one they'll have one in stock. Don't know how many they have there, but they were out when we called.
