cramps

Ok I am usually not an overreactor but i have been having bad cramps all afternoon on my right side very low ...i waited a few hours thinking they would pass but they havent. I am not bleeding at all but do u think i should call my midwife?? Im 17 weeks

I wouldn't call. I got them about the same time with Jeremy. They were pretty bad. Its stretching...

thanks so its probablly nothing??? I just dont wantto sit in an er all night for them to be nothing!!

It sounds like they might be "growing pains" or "gas pains" - i experienced some cramping and then they went away, 17-18 weeks was also a growth spurt for me so that is what i thought it was - if its continuous and bothersome though - i would definitely give your midwife a quick call.

18, almost 19 weeks here and similiar cramping.....

I had them on and off until the end of my preg. starting about exactly 17 weeks...
