It is excellent. It is part of the Bellmore-Merrick School District. They get very high scores on all the ratings.

Depends on location in N Bellmore you live in. A good chunk of N Bellmore goes to East Meadow School District. I have heard good things about both.

there are three districts in that area: The Bellmore-Merrick District make sup the 3 high schools (Calhoun, Mepham, and JFK) and the Middle Schools (Grand Avenue and Merrick Avenue).
Then there are two separate districts for the elementary schools - Bellmore SD and Merrick SD
It is a very oddly organized area - I would find out which HS you would be in (which is probably Calhoun) - All three are good
