Re: Getting my MA

the majority of MA programs are geared for working adults and the classes are in the afternoons/evenings after school hours. I had no problem completing my MA and then my AGC while I was still teaching. I did the MALS program at Stony Brook and I took most of the classes online. If you want more info FM me!! Good Luck!!!

I have come to find that the majority of graduate classes ar easier than undergraduate classes....this couldbe for a variety of reasons, but I am definitely appreciative!!!

I don't know where you live, but I'm finishing my MA at Queens College on Tuesday (YAY!) and I thought the program and the profs were great, and tuition was beyond reasonable. It took a year and 10 months, and I took 2 classes every semester (incl. summer).

I am really looking into Stonybrook's online program? Would you suggest it?

I did the MS in secondary ed at Dowling. It was easy. I finished it in just over a year. I liked them because they had three summer sessions and a January session. It was easy to get the classes done. I know people that did the MALS at Stony Brook and said it was easy. Did my undergrad there, parking is usually an issue, but they are pretty cheap.

Re: Getting my MA

I just finished my MA at the end of July Chat Icon - I went to Stony Brook and got my MA in MALS. For the 33 credits, I went to the campus for one class, the rest were either online or held at various satellite schools. I found it very convenient and I liked all my classes.
