Those that had implantation spotting
How long did it last for? Is it a brief thing or can it last more than one day?

My lasted weeks also it started off brown then at times it was red, but everytime I went to the doctor's baby Olivia was fine and now I have 4 weeks left.

I didn't have implantation spotting until I believe 13-14 weeks...the technician noticed "bruising" at our 12 weeks sono and advised me that this was most likely from implantation but to be aware that I could start spotting...and I did indeed...a couple of days later...but it was light brown spotting which lasted 3-4 days.

The reason I am asking is because I had blood in my underwear yesterday (tmi-i know) and now there is nothing there. AF isn't due until next week but I haven't been regular since coming off the pill months ago and am not currently purposely TTC.

Only once or twice, only when I wiped...never in my underwear...thats how my period usually starts too so I really thought I was getting it. It was pinkish/red.

I have come to realize that spotting is not a great indicator...it could be a bad sign but it could also mean nothing. I have a history of miscarriage so I was very upset when I started spotting at about 5 wks with this pregnancy. I even bled at one point and had terrible cramping. I spotted occasionally until about 20 weeks and guess what...I am now 37 weeks. Full term. Not quite there yet but almost.
If you are spotting you need to go to doc to get checked. If no problems are seen it may mean absolutely nothing. Could be coming from cervix or something. Good luck!

I think everyone is talking about different things. For spotting that lasts long term with a healthy baby that is probably a subchorionic hematoma(basically a bruise around the implantation site) Implantation spotting about 6-12 days after O usually only lasts a few days. I would test in 2-3 days. GL

The same exact thing happened to me. Then when it stopped and I didn't get my period I thought I might be pregnant.

about 2 days then it came back 2 wks later. we were told no fooling around for 3wks just incase it wasn't implantation - he didn't want us to disturb my cervix/pelvis

I did not have implantation bleeding, but I thought it was. It lasted about 3 days and was only really when I wiped (brownish)
Turns out I had a hematoma. I did not have a sonogram until 2 weeks after that spotting, and had one only because a kid where I work punched my stomach.
I go back TODAY for a 2 week check-up to see that it shrank.
It seems that this is very common and is often not even detected because people do not usually have sonograms at 6 weeks and by the time they do it goes away before detected.
Do tell your dr that you had spotting.

Thank you everyone for your replys. I will be going to the dr soon and I will mention the irregular bleeding. This is definetly AF bleeding now and NOT implantation.
