Hair color ?
What exactly is double process hair color?(it's been a long while since I've had any drastic color change). If my hair is a medium auburn brown and I want to go lighter would they have to use double process? Just wondering what I'm in for!(getting my hair colored/highlighted ).

Usually it's a permanent color all over the hair and then highlights.
ETA: To just go lighter, I don't think you would need a double-process. I've been up and down all levels of color and only had to have a permanent.
