Behr's Furniture ....Here the customer is NOT always right!
Ok...so if you can remember a few weeks ago we had Ava's furniture delivered and it came with a big chunk of wood missing from one of the legs....We called to complain and a few days later they sent two guys over with a pack of fill in markers to cover the chip. Obviously we weren't going to accept that considering we spent close to $3000 on two pieces of furniture...so a week later we get another delivery....but this time the dresser has a dent in the leg....so again we call for another piece.....so delivery number three comes yesterday and again there is a piece of wood chipped off the leg.....At this point we a livid.....Ava is almost 5 weeks old and still has no furniture and all of her stuff is in my dining room and her clothes are in plastic bags. So we call the store manager to complain and he was so rude. We told him we wanted another piece delivered and our $100 delivery fee credited for the inconvenience and the fact that we have already tipped out close to $60 with all the deliveries....Well his response was " We can't credit you the delivery...our truck has been there 3 times already". Yeah...well why was your truck her 3 times...because you kept dropping off damaged dressers. So then he says well I'll credit you $100 if you keep the piece.....Well for a piece that I paid $1500 for...absolutely not.....Keep your $100 and bring me a piece that is not damaged. So he says he has to speak to the owner and call back......Now this is the best part....He calls back this morning and of course nothing has changed they still want us to keep the piece and credit us $100. Dh said no....and the store manager turns around and say....."Well I heard the chip is on the leg that is facing a wall in the room and it is on a carpet so it shouldn't even be noticiable". I still can't believe he said that. Well what about when we move in a few months and her furniture is on wood floors and in a different location. So now we have to call back to make sure they will be delivering another piece...so I'll keep you posted.....But what I can tell you is that we have had nothing but problems with this store....They have made there money off of us and now no longer want to be bothered. They have horrible customer service....there manager was extremly rude and could care less about the customer. Just wanted to make you all aware of this because if you do order furniture from them and it does come damaged....good luck on trying to solve the problem!

I was very happy with my furniture...and the service from Behrs..
However feel so bad that you are going through this... I would report them to BBB...Watch how fast you get a new piece and that 100 bucks back!!!!

That is awful. How dare he say that the chip is facing the wall, that is not the point. The point is that you want what you paid for.
