Bought my first day of school outfit
at Ann Taylor today. Sort of looks like this but a little more business-y

same here. It is just Superintendants Conf. Day so everyone is casual too

That is very pretty outfit!!! We are not so dressy either in my building, We have parents come in with the kids for the first 2 hours of school....it really sux since it is hard enough to get through those first few moments then to impress the parents too...school's idea of building community

Clarification: I bought this for the first day back with the students. I liked it and find that people tend to be dressier at my new school.

When I started out as Student teacher/ Substitute I wore clothes like than and then when I got hired it all went downhill. I can't wait for Fridays so I can wear jeans!!
I think you will look beautiful and like you mean business on the 1st day with the kids.
