NYC Teachers - Aug 30th
Has anyone gotten any information about what time we need to be there the first day of school? I have not heard anything from my school.

Your best bet is to call the school directly and find out when they start, unless someone contacts you first.

It is definately not typical. Most teachers in my school are going in Monday/Tuesdays to set up our rooms. I am going MOnday. I have meetings Tuesday and Wednesday. It is normally school hours on the 30th.

i subbed last year in the school i'm starting in on the 30th. we got a memo in june saying what the school day hours would be for the 07-08 school year. so i'm going by that. didn't get any correspondence over the summer. i would call the school if i were you.
