poor weight gain

hi,
my son is 10 months old and is gaining weight very slowly. he is 17.4 lbs and was 7.4 at birth. he has always been in the 5th- 10th percentile for weight. he was in the 25th for height and now is in the 75th. anyway, the doctor said that she won't worry unless he drops off the charts but i am afraid that he is. he is super active and doesn't enjoy eating. does anyone have a similar problem?

I don't have a similar problem, but I would suggest to keep trying new foods. Eventually you'll have to come across something he enjoys. WHat have you been feeding him. Maybe we can give you some more suggestions. My son is the same age and he loves pasta, cheese, ice cream, fruit.

I don't think that is bad - my nephew is 1 and weighs 19 1/2 pounds. Your son is just tall and thin.
