Weight Watchers oatmeal
Have any of you heard of how to make pancakes using the ww oatmeal. I heard it a meeting and forget how to prepare. My leader has been out of couple of weeks and the ususal people have not been showing up so I don't know who else to ask.
Thanks,
In the mood for the pancakes

Re: WW people
I was able to find these on their website:
Ingredients 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup uncooked quick oats 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp canola oil 2 large egg white(s) 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 Tbsp unpacked brown sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp table salt 2 cup unsweetened frozen sour red cherries 4 Tbsp reduced-calorie pancake syrup Instructions Combine buttermilk, oats and vanilla; let stand, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Stir in oil and egg whites.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add oat mixture to flour mixture and stir until smooth.
Spoon about 1/3 cup batter onto a hot, nonstick griddle. Flip pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges start to curl up.
Top pancakes with cherries and syrup. Yields 2 pancakes, 1/2 cup cherries and 1 tablespoon syrup per serving.

Re: WW people
ok i went to my meeting this morning and found out that just mix ww oatmeal and 3 egg whites and then cook in butter spray or however you usually make pancakes. the receptionist suggested using a waffle maker and the other members suggested blending the oatmeal so it is more like "flour".

I will have to try and figure out how to work this out using regular oatmeal because the idea sounds great.
