throwing out shoes

how often do you do this?

I get rid of clothing a few times a yr, but I let my shoes pile up until my closet is exploding!

I got rid of 5 pairs yesterday and I could probably toss another 5 pairs... at least, and would never miss them!

I need a bigger closet!!

It's awfully hard to part with shoes b/c they always fit so you think to yourself why? I might wear them again even though I haven't for 2 years I could probably get rid of so many more but I also feel when I do then I get some new article of clothing and I think to myself d@*#% wouldn't x pair have looked good with this

Twice a year I donate clothes and shoes.

I don't buy ultra expensive ones so it doesn't break my heart.

I will keep shoes for a long time though if I really love them.

1 of the pairs I threw out I haven't worn in over 5 yrs!

I have two rules for throwing out shoes:

1. If I can't remember the last time I wore them.

2. If just remembering the last time I wore them actually makes my feet hurt.

Either of those two criteria are met they go bye bye.

Usually once a year, but I usually hold onto most shoes with the exception of running sneakers and outdated shoes. It is just so hard to part with them.

I try but I just cannot bring myself to throw away shoes.

Short of them being completely worn out or out of style I will not get rid of them, regardless of if I have worn them recently or not.
