SA question
My dr gave my DH a prescription to get the SA done. I'm confused - all we have to do is , ahem!, fill the container (sterile) and bring it to the lab they instructed us too? Who gets the results - my GYN? They weren't very clear on this.

We are doing the same but our doctor is actually having it done the day I go in for the IUI.
DH said he can't believe he is being encouraged to do "the act" Men

the lab sent the results to the doctor - we called the next day (Qwest labs is very fast), and they read them to us and faxed them to us

depends where you get it done - we used Qwest and they get them done in 24 hours - but I remember reading other girls on here having to wait up to a week - maybe they got it done in a doctor's office

Rsofny, made us wait weeks. It was so ridiculous. I also had to wait 3 weeks for my hsg test there.
Meanwhile, Rsofny does the SA right on premises and has the results ready in about an hour after doing it.

DH's SA took 10 days to get the results back. My RE went over the results with me.
