Does anyone plan on giving the delivering doctor a gift after baby is born?
Any ideas?

Re: Doctor Gifts
DH and I plan on doing something for the doctor that delivered our DD. He was not my regular OB, and DH and I really felt he went above and beyond for us. We arent really quite sure what to do, but we are going to do something. We also want to do something for the nurse that assisted in the delivery because she was just amazing and again went above and beyond for us.

It's a nice gesture but I never got around to do it.

Re: Doctor Gifts
I definitely am. My Dr. is a friend of the family, I NEVER wait, he spends so much time with me, does sonos every visit, etc etc. I think I'm getting him a case of wine (hes a huge wine drinker)
My specialist/perinatal high risk Dr. is also a friend of the family, who is seeing me for FREE right now on a weekly basis as a favor since he doesn't accept my insurance, and we will be getting him something as well....just haven't decided what yet, perhaps a gift card to a nice restaurant.

Re: Doctor Gifts
We didnt, although the week of my delivery we brought bakery cookies to the office for the nurses/office staff there. I also wrote a nice letter thanking my dr. & her staff following the delivery.
