Munire furniture girls

PLEASE help me choose a finish. i am so indecisive lately. I do love the cherry finish but i have cherry and mahogany furniture in my other rooms and want something different lighter for the baby's room.

I want the Majestic crib and Newport dresser. I wanted walnut but Newport is not available in walnut. The only way i can go with this combo is if i get classic chestnut or chestnut. In the brochure and online the classic chestnut looks lighter than it actually is in the store so now i'm second guessing myself and thinking maybe they mis-labelled the sample in the store and what i was really looking at is Chestnut (not classic chestnut)

DH thinks i'm nuts. The reality is i had my heart set on a toffee color but Munire doesn't have any of these and I MUST order the crib soon. I'm due in 7 weeks Also i can't keep driving out to Behrs from Brooklyn HELP

We are getting Munire furniture, but I wont be much help because we are going to go with white.
ETA: Maybe you could just call Behrs and ask them to double check the color on the set and make sure it is labelled correctly?

My sister has Munire in a chesnut finish. It's very pretty. You can't go by the pictures online or the brochure b/c every computer monitor is different and the brochure is just a picture that is reprinted on high gloss paper. What you saw in the store is the color.

I just got the Antique White Newport delivered. It's so beautiful and looks great for a baby girl.

I will add that I got it from Behrs and every piece came damaged. The baby will not be able to go in her crib until it's replaced. All the wood was snapped and broken in the back by the bars.

What a fight but Behrs has to replace the whole crib and get us a new dresser! What a disaster!

You know I have the Newport series in cherry. I think anyway you go the set is so classic that it will be lovely

I bought the Essex crib and Urban dresser/changing table in white.


I also live in Brooklyn and I am due in 4 weeks. What hospital are you delivering in?

I was going to suggest Walnut, this is what we ordered. I did like the Chesnut too.

I am really no help but I got the Essex crib, dresser, combo & hutch in Rubbed Black.
