Birthday cakes....

are you, or did you have 1 cake or 2 separate.
DH and I are having a dissagreement.
Im saying 1, and he feels they BOTH should have their own cake.
Would love to hear opinions......

Re: Birthday cakes....

Why do you get 1 cake but give each child their own cupcake with candle to blow out and smoosh.

Still not sure. Originally I planned on 2 but since they won't know the difference, I'll probably end up only ordering one.

At their party they each got a cake, they each will always get one. We had one cake for them on the actual day, just not at the party. 3 cakes was enough, I wasn't doing 4.

I amke my own cakes so it is not like I am getting 2 big sheet cakes. I make 2 smaller cakes.

Believe it or not DH and I already discussed this... two cakes. I figure they will always have to share a birthday, they might as well each get their own cake.

Re: Birthday cakes....

we are doing the big cake and each of them will have their own cake. It is a tradition in my family. And it is so funny.
