Anthropologie
Ok, I feel like the only one who hates this store. My best friend got me a gift card there and I CANNOT find anything I like. I feel like it's all gross colors and dowdy clothes. What am I missing? Is there a back room there where they hide all the cute clothes or something?

did you look online? The shoes are pretty cool...as are some of the sweaters and tops! I never see anything in the store, but I do love the website!

I agree with you - the website does seem to carry cuter stuff. I'll have to check it out again.

It's not my favorite store (only because at my size, I look silly in most of their clothes). I hate the clothes when I see them in the catalog, but I find that I do find pieces I like when I walk through the store.

Thank you! It's so funny you should post this-
I was just telling a friend this weekend, we were passing this store-I dont get the hype about this place-I feel like I SHOULD like it-but I just cant bring myself to.
The clothes seem well made-and they actually look cute from afar(or on the website) but I think they look better on the rack than on an actual person?? yea-i dont get it!

I love the store (wearing a blouse from there today) but I tend to go in with bigger expectations (b/c I love the catalogue) and wind up leaving with only a couple of pieces instead of the boatload I circled in the catalogue.
I think it's a great store for accessories and layering pieces. I love their sweaters and blouses...and their dresses.

I love their stuff. Some of it can be a bit much, especially if you are in Anthro from head to toe, but they have some great and unique pieces. Whenever my husband goes there with me he always says everything looks "recycled." LOL.

Some of the things they sell are a little strange looking, but they do have very nice accessories and an absolutely amazing home section! Unfortunately, everything they sell is extremely overpriced for what it is. I usually just wait for things I like to go on sale.
