I'm not happy with mny classroom this year!

It does not feel like a home! I might stay after this week and move it all around.

Just needed to get htat out....Anyone want to share anthing they love about their classroom to give me some inspiration???????

I am sure we have all been there....I know Ive gone and set up my whole room and then changed it because I just wasnt feeling it...

I love that my room feels "comfortable". I feel like it's a place where my kids can come in and feel safe, happy, and can work.

You also have to see how it works with the kids actually using the space. They will let you know!

My first year, I moved my desk in November and was so much happier. The next year, I was in a different room and felt that the room was cluttered the whole year. Needless to say, I stayed after and did some rearranging. There is nothing to say that you can't. Now, I feel like other teachers are following my room placement. It's funny. Go to other rooms and see what inspires you. And if you are that stressed, see if you can come in on a Saturday with a bit of help. I was able to do that once.

It's probably best to see what happens after the kids come as mentioned b4...it'll take a few weeks to make it "your" classroom.

I took over for a teacher that taught in that room for 22 years & she threw NOTHING out. I literally spent 3 days JUST going thru her junk & tossing stuff...not fun. Now its finally starting to feel like my room.
