Re: need a dessert recipe
Make a trifle. They are fool proof. You can't screw them up.

Re: need a dessert recipe
I make a cookie layer dessert that is always a hit!
Take some havy whipping cream and add some powdered sugar (the fine powdered kind) whip it up to make homemade whip cream.
Crush a sleeve (or 2) of choc. chip cookies into tiny pieces.
In a clear bowl, drizzle choc. syrup along sides of bowl. Layer as follows: whip cream cookies sprinkle some cinnamon sprinkle some nuts (sliced almonds is what I use) drizzle with choc. syrup. REPEAT layers. Your final layer will be whip cream, nuts, cinnamon, syrup. I usually get 2 full layers and then the top layer.

peanut butter pie courtesy of arieschick
IT IS A HIT with everyone!
1 package of cream cheese 1 tub of cool whip light 1 cup of peanut butter 2tbs of milk graham cracker pie crust
mix all ingredients together with hand mixer until smooth
place in graham cracker pie crust
refrigerate for about 2-24 hours or until chilled
it is DELICIOUS!
(i add an extra quarter cup of peanut butter cause it is so yummy and creamy!) - i have also made this with light pb, skim milk and a light crust.
