American Idol was VERY special for me tonight
The 2nd song that Bo sang, In A Dream, was originally sung by a good friend of mine, Ray Gillen of Badlands. Unfortunately Ray passed away at an early age, and to hear Bo do that song just made me overcome with emotions.
I am so happy that so many people got to hear an amazing song, written and performed by an amazing man.
I miss you, Ray!!

Yes, I knew him and will never, ever forget him. Personally, I think Ray had one of the most amazing voices I have ever heard. Bo did a really good job.

Wow, I must have missed this last night. I can only imagine how moved and touching it was for you to watch Bo sing your friend's song last night. I was moved by his performance on its own, and as the other ladies said I hope that he did the song justice
SO sorry you had to lose such a dear friend and so young
