what kind of tops do you mostly wear to work?

blouses, knits, etc...

I usually wear sweaters in the winter, knit tops in the fall & spring & maybe an occasional dressier top. In the summer, it is sweater tanks & just dressy tanks.

i don't feel comfy in blouses...

I wear mostly knit tops fall through spring, with some sweaters thrown in mid-winter.

I just bought a bunch of button-up shirts at NY&Co. I haven't been in that store in ages, and I was pleasantly suprised at how many shirts I was able to get there. They even had some of the layered-looking kind of tops...like a sweater or vest over a blouse.

This is my biggest issue too!! At the moment because of my haircut, all my collared shirts are bugging me because the back of my hair sits on the collar and just makes me insane!

And I'm sooooooooooooo sick of v-necks or open necked tops!! I just want some normal crew neck tops & sweaters!!!! I'm so sick of wearing camisoles which still show more chest area than I'd like (my chest gets very red if I'm hot or nervous and I also get small bumps ).

I have some cotton tops from Lands End that are 3/4 sleeves and I also wear crew neck sleevless ones with a sweater over it.

Today I'm in a tunic length with a tie in front that has 3/4 sleeves.

I usually wear low cut see through shirts. It helps when it is promotion time.

Knit tops...mostly Banana and Gap. I like the 3-quarter sleeve knits from Gap. Sweater sets...but also tons of tanks and Ts...I work in a creative environment and anything goes. Today I have on a white long-sleeve Gap "favorite T" with wide-leg gray pants and my Jessica Simpson black and white gingham-print flats. (if you are wondering!) lol

i mostly wear suits. my office might as well be located in antarctica. its freezing in here. today im wearing a knit from ann taylor.

on days i dont wear suits, i usually wear a cardigan set. or a v-neck sweater with a button down under.

I work in a "business casual" office, but it's definitely more on the conservative "business." I wear a lot of button downs. In the winter, I usually wear sweaters - I love J. Crew cable knit sweaters and cashmere sweaters. I often wear a sweater over a button down. In the warmer months, I usually wear thin knit sweaters/tops from Banana Republic. I also wear a lot of cardigans.

During the summer, I wear a lot of wide strap tanks, as long as they aren't skinny straps that's okay.

Now over the fall/winter, I will wear button downs, v-neck t-shirts (the nice fitted ones, not regular t-shirts), cardigans/suit jackets over tanks/camis, and sweaters.

Unlike a previous poster, I always wear V-necks. I hate crew necks, I feel like I am being strangled.

DH just mentioned to me that I sure do love wearing the tops that look like there is a shirt underneath the sweater vest.

I really like knits, hate button-ups because they never fit right. I'm way to casual tho.
