What size jeans should I get
It is very difficult for me to go shopping with the kids let alone try on clothes with the two of them so I was going to order citizens online.
My measurements are 31 waist and 40 hips. Now I use to wear a 28 and my measurements were 27W37H. I did try on the 28's I have at home and I was able to get them up and zipped but they are very tight. Now they are also 5 years old so they have streched out a little bit. I do have a pair of size 30 Joe Jeans and those are big. I was gonna go with a 29, what do you think?

Every brand is different when it comes to sizing and even within certain brands, different washes & styles can vary greatly in size. Rock & Republic is notorius for that!
You really need to go to a store to try them on.

That's what I thought.
Sorry. Wish I had a different answer for you (and the rest of us).
I don't know where you live, but if you can't really get out to try on jeans, you might want to order a few pairs in various sizes from Nordstrom (they have $5 shipping) and then just return the ones that don't fit to the store (you don't have to pay for return shipping then.)

I have a 28 wiast and 39 hips and I wear a size 30 in Citizen jeans. Hope that helps!

good luck. jean shopping is very hard for me too, and I don't have the added issue of kiddies.

Wow thanks for that link. I just bought a pair of Joe's Jeans online based on what it said...we'll see if they are right!

I always have to try jeans on because you can try on 2 pairs of the exact size and one may fit better then the other because of the way they cut the jeans..
