Moving and spiders -- anyone have this problem?

DH and I boxed everything up and its been stored in our shed, our garage and our basement for the past month. We started moving everything into the Uhaul yesterday and noticed that everything has spiders on it. We're finding spiders all over the Uhaul. I'm worried about tracking these boxes into the new apartment and bringing the spiders in with us (Im not talking about one or two....im talking like 20 to 30 spiders...and they're HUGE). Anyone have any advice on how we can minimize the number of spiders or kill them before we get the boxes into the apartment?? DH was thinking of setting off a "bug bomb" in the Uhaul to kill them all, but I dont know if that will kill anything already inside the boxes or if its safe for our stuff Has anyone experienced this or know of what we could possibly do?
