UPDATE: H&M
There was a sweater on one of the displays in my size and I wanted to buy it....they had no others in my size. They wouldn't take it down so I could purchase it. I don't get it...why can't they put one of the other 500 sweaters in the store up there?
UPDATE...
So I went this evening and I stole the sweater off the model. My heart was beating so fast as if I was really stealing the darn thing. But it was adorable and I am so excited about my purchase. I do have to admit I wish I could see the guys face when he sees the sweater missing from the model!

A lot of stores do this and it drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!
I understand their not putting a different sweater up... stores like H&M have to set up their windows exactly as they're instructed.. but to not switch out the size sweater you needed with another is so stupid!!!

Ohhhh I was so tempted...but they were staring me down as if I was going to steal the sweater after I asked if I could purchase it.
What a dumb policy...great for business... piss off a customer who wants to give you $$!
