Ok I broke down & now
Sandy is sleeping with us everynight. She started to hide behind the couch and I couldn't get her. She waits until she thinks we are sleeping & then comes on the bed.

BOTH our dogs sleep with us.....Bailey (the 85 lb Rottie) started when we were living with DH sister here in GA because we had no room for her crate in our room. Then we just kept her out at night in our apt and only crated her when we went out for work and such....then eventually we weaned her out of her crate all together.
Boomer gets crated during the day when no one is home, but he had such bad seperation anxiety (and jealous of Bailey) that he cried at night and went in his cage. Then we allowed him to sleep with us and the accidents stopped. He loves cuddling under the blankets.
