What to do, what to do...
At the beginning of the year, I was successful w/ working out and WW... I lost 14 pounds... But I quickly got frustrated with counting points, and having to figure out points, etc. I also know that I likely wouldn't be sucessful on core because of the low carb attributes of the plan.
I've started working out again, and my diet is essentially eating foods from WW recepies and trying to make good choices...
I don't know if this is going to be as successful as the WW, but I just don't see myself going back on the points systems at this time.
As anyone done anything similar? Or does anyone know of a plan that doesn't involve so much counting?

Re: What to do, what to do...
I'm doing points right now, and I like it, but the reason I like it is that it has forced me to become aware of reading labels to see calorie/fat content and especially serving size.
Eventually, I think I'll stop doing WW online and try to go on just what I've learned about eating healthier.
If you are sticking with WW and lighter recipes, you should be fine, just be careful that you are still aware of the serving size - I've learned that that is what always got me.

Re: What to do, what to do...
I think that most diets are calorie couting diets by nature. Because when you boil all diets down, its simple. Eat less calories than your basal metabolic rate, and you will lose weight.
WW is actually one of the easier counting diets, because you only need to count the one number instead of keeping track of calories, and fat, and carbs, and sodium, etc. I have been on WW in the past, for over a year and I understand how it gets frustrating and boring after a while.
I think unless you get one of the pre-delivered food diets, where I'm guessing meals are interchangable calorie wise, or a total food group elimination diet (carbs, etc) then everything else is going to be or is based off of calorie counting.
Right now I'm following low calorie, low fat using Alli as a supplement. While I have a general idea of how many calories I'm eating, I dont count them specifically. I know when I'm overeating, or undereating without counting. My basal metabolic rate is so high right now that I don't need to be too careful and count specifically. As I lose more and more weight, this will change and I will need to be more careful.
I think if you follow WW principles, you will lose weight. I think most people have a feeling when they know they are not following a healthy diet. Just follow your gut!
Good Luck!
