Anyone ever been to Aruba and can suggest a resort or hotel? It would be for a few days in November. Flights look cheap.

I love Aruba! I went there on my HM. The Hyatt is really nice as is the Raddison. Both are located in Palm Beach, with all the other high rise hotels. The Bucuti is also really nice and it's in Eagle Beach, where all the other low rise hotels are.

we stayed at the Bucuti Beach Resort which, as Hollie stated, is on Eagle Beach with the low rise hotels. we chose this area because we just wanted peace and quiet (and no kids running around the beach) for our HM. its more of a couples/honeymooners hotel and we just loved it! the rooms were gorgeous and ours was on the main floor with doors that lead right onto a covered patio and the beach!

We stayed in the same room for our honeymoon (at the Tara Beach Suites at the Bucuti - they are in a seperate building) and LOVED it. I think the Bucuti has the best beach of all the hotels we saw while we walked around - it was never crowded and is deeper, so has more area than most of the other hotels. I would love to go back to the Bucuti again one day, it was a wonderful stay. One thing to consider is if you have children - the Tara Suites do not allow children at all, and the hotel advertises itself as more for couples and adults, so there aren't any activities scheduled for kids. The front desk can help you find stuff to do, but I would say if you do have children, you are better off staying somewhere else.
We liked the low rise area better than the high rise area. The second time we went, we stayed at the Tamarijn, which is an all inclusive. I liked the convenience of the all inclusive. The food was not as good as some of the restaurants in Aruba, but it was a much better deal money wise, especially if you are drinking alcohol. There are times during the year where kids stay for free at the Tamarijn, and they have an activity scheduled almost every day for kids.
