Prayers needes for my little boy !!!UPDATE!!!! 10/6/07
UPDATE: HI Ladies, I just want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. You are all so kind, and my family appreciates it. Baby Parker is doing REALLY well! Yesterday was his big day. It was his 1 week birthday, so they were able to do his MRI (they had to wait for the brain swelling to go down) By some Miracle, the MRI was NORMAL!!!!!! The doctor let me read the report myself, as they could not even belive it, I just jumped on her and hugged her with happiness. This means there is no structural damage to the brain.here still may be brain function issues, as indicated by the EEG. We are taking one day at a time, and I know by looking at my son's sweet face we can overcome anything. He is my little miracle. I was able to hold him finally, and give him some formula, and a bath!!! He is still hooked up to a lot of wires, and gets most of his nutrition by IV, but in a week, this is INCREDIBLE progress. Again, thank you all so much for your support, I hope to continue to update you with great news. But today...is a GOOD DAY!
I have never asked for prayers before, but my little one needs them.
Parker came into the world by emergency c-section on Friday morning. My placenta abrupted, and both of our lives were in danger. They got my little angel out very quickly, and resuccitated him.
He is now in the NICU, and doing well. We will not know what damage that may have done to his brain for a long time to come, but for now he is responding and reacting. He is getting excellent care. SO please just send positive vibes his way, to continue his road to recovery, so that he can come home very soon. I will post the full brith story when I can, but at the same time, I do not want to scare anyone. Medicine today is amazing....they saved my little one.
