Should I call the dr?
Just before I went to bed last night I started to get really bad pains in my stomach. I don't know how to describe them -- they were either cramps or bad gas pains . Also, I've been having non-stop morning sickness and this morning I feel much better. I'm 10 weeks. I'm worried that if they were cramps something could be wrong. Should I call the dr?

Re: Should I call the dr?
Call to make yourself feel better, but I am sure you are fine. Cramps are very normal during pregnancy. Are you spotting?

Re: Should I call the dr?
it sounds normal for 10 weeks, but if you're the least bit worried i would call your doctor to put your mind at ease.

Re: Should I call the dr?
Thanks ladies. I just called and spoke to the obstetrical nurse. She said that because there's no blood, it's probably nothing and I should just wait it out. She said I'm too early to hear the heartbeat using a Doppler and she doesn't want to try because if we don't hear it we'll get nervous. Ughh, I don't go back to the dr for close to 3 more weeks! I'm so nervous!

This happened to me during my 1st pregnancy- intense cramping with no blood is pretty common. Try not to worry.
Also, just a tip from a very nervous nelly-if you ever feel unsure about something, ALWAYS call the dr. It's better to be safe and who cares if you are bothering them, they work for you! You hired them to take care of you.
Now enjoy not throwing up and eat something yummy!

This has happened to me. I have cramped through out my entire pregnancy. If there is no blood that usually means you are fine. Drink lots of water; that is what the Dr told me. If it gets really bad I would call back and demand a sono.

Re: Should I call the dr?
cramping is normal in pregnancy. Esp if its only every once in awhile. Your body is trying to expand. i wouldnt be worried unless the pain gets real intense and lasts or you start spotting. To me, it sounds fine.

Re: Should I call the dr?
I had cramping in the first few months of my pregnancy as well. Everything is stretching and changing in there.
