I'm looking for a pediatrician that comes HIGHLY recommended!
Hi ladies,
I am on the hunt for a ped to meet with about my toddler and get a second opinion on with something...I may also look to switch so someone in Nassau/Western Suffolk would be ideal.
I'm looking for a ped whom I can really trust with their opinion on things, are easy to get appts with when needed, and respectfully LISTENS to your concerns and issues 
Any recos would be wonderful, thanks!

My sister uses Dr. McDonaugh and raves about him...I'm even thinking of switching. I don't know if Huntington is too far for you though.

I know Commack is far for you, but I HIGHLY recommend my pediatrician. She has been extremely proactive and compassionate with all of Alec's issues. If you want info, just ask.

He's absolutely amazing - calls on his day off to see how my sick child is faring. I trust him tremendously. He has children of his own & definitely sees it from both a parent & a doctor perspective.

we use dr lefenfeld and dr kurfist. they came highly recommended from the nursing staff at huntington hospital and that is how we chose them. very thourough, never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and they are very patient with the child.

We use Dr. George's office in West Islip. There are three doctors, all very nice. My fav is doctor Vancura. She is a wonderful doctor. I cannot say enough good things about her! Lance loves her too. I always get an appt. same day. Good Luck!!!

I love our Ped. He is also one of the heads of the ped dept in LIJ Plainview- as I was told when I delivered there!
Dr Morris Rabinowicz on Old Country Road in Plainview. (516) 935-7333
The staff are wonderful. I have never had a problem getting appts and he always leaves time at the end of appts for questions and always asks if there are any questions throughout.
Like I said I LOVE him!

We use Dr. Woletsky in West Islip. I absolutely adore him. I feel that you need to trust your ped more than anything. My friend and my SIL have both switched to him. He is proactive, but is also not over-reactive. If you would like more info, FM me.

Dr Timothy George in West Islip. They are great!!! He also has two other drs with him Dr. Bonafetti and Dr. Vancura. Dr George and Dr Bonafetti are my favorite (I think because dr Vancura is new) but she is very nice.

This is who we use also, he is great. I love the fact that everything is in the same building, I go to HMG for myself as well, nothing beats the pharamacy, I have never waited more than 10 mins for a prescription

This is who we are using also. Both of my cousins use this practice and absolutely love it!

I use him too. I really like him and the staff. My SIL also switched to him!!
