WHOA! prices for Vegas
I am getting quotes STARTING at $700 + for a 3 night stay in Vegas per person. (and not even for a great hotel)
is that the NORM?
I thought it would be that much for a higher end (ie MGM) stay for a weekend in November.
this is from Travelocity. Expedia and Orbitz will probably be about the same. does anyone have any other suggestions, or does it not get much better than this.
TIA!

Did you try travelzoo? It looks like there are some good deals for some weekends in Nov. if you are flexible.

Re: WHOA! prices for Vegas
That is expensive - We went in April during the kiddies break from school when airfare is totally inflated and stayed at the Wynn for about $850pp - for 5 days I think - 4 or 5 ..........
Definitely keep shopping !! -

Re: WHOA! prices for Vegas
Vegas has definitely increased prices all around.....both air and hotel are much more $$$ than they ever used to be.
Sorry, this doesn't help, but I've noticed it too.

Re: WHOA! prices for Vegas
try jetblue.com (under TravelDeals)..they have the best deals....better than Expedia, Orbitz, etc..
I put 4 days, 3 nights (the weekend before Thanksgiving) and got deals starting at $500 up to $700 for the top hotels....(for 3 days Fri-Sun, they want $680 for the Bellagio)...
