Southwest-Tickets?
I am going on Southwest in November and did not receive any tickets in the mail. Do I have to print something out from online or do they take care of my reservation at the desk that day? Thanks!

Most airlines do not print tickets anymore. You can check in online and print your boarding pass or when you check in at the airport, your reservation is pulled up by your name and reservation number.

Re: Southwest-Tickets?
Nope, you don't need anything, just your ID.
The six-digit reservation number is always useful too.
You should check-in online 24 hours before your flight so that you get a good boarding group. It's open seating and the earlier you check in the better. If you wait until you get to the airport, you could wind up in the "C" boarding group, meaning the last 1/3 to get on the plane.

Re: Southwest-Tickets?
Thanks! I will probably be there over 2 hours before my flight so I should be ok with getting seats early.

I wouldnt be so sure of that. I would guess at LEAST 70% of the people check-in online the day before. Even if you got to the airport 5 hours early I would think you'd risk getting a C group because of all of the internet check-ins.

Would does it mean to get a "C" group though? I would just have to wait longer to get on the plane?

If either of those things bother you, you should check in online the night before (or at least morning of) your flight.

Ahh you should be fine then! The only other disadvantage with a C group is if you are trying to bring on a carry-on roller bag.. the overhead bins fill up quickly sometimes and the C people have to check their bag at the gate. Other than that, check in whenever you want!
