Bermuda Cruises and Excursions
I was wondering if anyone here took a cruise to Bermuda and did their own excursions because I am researching things and it looks like it will be alot cheaper for us to take the bus and ferry to places instead of doing the private NCL tours.

we did some of the ncl tours and did the rest on our own walking and taking the bus
lots of people on the boat did their own via taxis and the buses.
if you rent scooters, be careful!!!!

We explored on our own...took buses or taxis everywhere. It was very easy to get around and it was very safe also.

We went helmet diving in Bermuda with Hartleys. It was the best thing I've ever done. I'm not a swimmer so to be able to get that scuba feeling without swimming and being able to breathe normally was great for me.
We did book it thru the cruise, but you can book with him directly. Check it out!

We have been to Bermuda already but before the kids. We rented a scooter last time but I mostly took the ferry into Hamilton while my dh took the scooter!!

We took an excursion through NCL for snorkeling but other than that we did our own thing. It's relatively easy to get around...we used the bus or taxi. Bus route 7 (double check that) takes you to elbow beach, horseshoe bay, and all the other beaches in southshore park. It's like a 20 minute ride to get to Horseshoe. If you have any questions, FM me...we just went there in August. It's GORGEOUS!!!!!

We explored on our own also. We walked around the town alot and took the buses to anywhere we wanted to go see. The beaches are beautiful!

If you go to Horseshoe Bay and take the path behind it or walk through the big boulders to the left you can find a bunch of little coves..well worth the walk!
