I *think* it means that if your loans are already paid off you can not be reimbursed.

Am I wrong in thinking that unless you have been paying the loan off for ten years, then you are not eligible? Newer loans are not applicable?

how do you go about seeing if youi are eligible? do you call the loan company? in my case it is acs-education.com who holds my loan.

i wish! i will be paying off my loans for 30 years and yes that means that you have to be paying them for 10 years SO *hopefully* after paying for ten years I will be able to forget about the rest of my loans ( ( which will probably still be over $20K ) )

seriously i ran home and started researching
i have to wait 8 more years and i am not going to "depend" on it really happening but it is nice to have a little light at the end of the tunnel
