Key West in Feb.
A bunch of us are going to Key West over Presidents Week and we're trying to figure out which full day fun boat adventure to go on. Anyone been? I'm also trying to figure out where to dive. any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks edited for spelling

No suggestions but we went to Key west at the end of January 2005...and it was freezing cold...like 40 degrees. It was unusual but I just wanted to give you a heads up that it can get cold that time of the year.

Re: Key West in Feb.
We have a timeshare in Key West and we dive with Lost reef adventures... They are definatley the best we have tried them all and they are by far the best.. I would go with Sebago for the all day adventure they are the biggest and the best for that.. I think they are located at the Galleon on the end of Front Street(my timeshare place) A couple of places to eat I know you didnt ask but Turtle Krals, Two Friends Pepes for Burgers for lunch.. If you want some history of Key West you can do the trolley it takes you all over the island and you can get on and off not the train the trolley the train you cant get off.. Have fun the weather will be beautiful Where are you staying?

We're actually staying at the Galleon. We were able to rent a 3 brm that sleeps 8 for the week. Thanks on all the recomendations. We were looking into Seabago but just weren't sure which one. Any tips about the Galleon? Thanks

Re: Key West in Feb.
Sunset Rentals does an all day boat thingy - they take you out, have all kinds of toys for you to play with, cook lunch (byob) and then bring you back. I don't remember how much it is, but I do remember having a lot of fun! Plus, he's been in business since I've been going to Key West (12 years) so I know he's reputable.

Thats great youll love it.. On Monday there is a owner BBQ and they give away raffles it is pretty good... If you need a ride to and from the airport you can call them in advance if your coming in on Sat and they'll pick you up.. Van only runs on Sat though.. Go to the rooftop and look at the view.. If you rent a scooter the guy outside the galleon will give you a deal, hes pretty nice.. If you want to order your groceries ahead of time and have it dropped off to your room I can give you the # of the people who do that.. You will have a blast Im going the 1st week in Dec

Re: Key West in Feb.
Dry Tortugas(?) you can get on the boat at the Hilton. It's an all day event with dinner and a bbq on the island. I used to live in Key West so if you want any info just fm me. My brother still lives there and is a city cop so i'll put a good word in for ya Stay away from Margaritaville it's crazy expensive and not very good. I like Sloppy Joes anad dh and I shared 1 as an app before a nicer dinner. Go to the Lazy Gheko LOVE IT!!!! Stay away from Ricks unless you like to be man handled and pawed at in a sick sorta way. You MUST go to 7 Fish!!!!! It's a tad off Duval but OMG The BEST steak I EVER had Have a blast and pack a zip up hoodie or 2 and jeans for at night....oh yea try Flying Monkey's and Fogerty's. They have the best lettuce wraps, oh and Scooners Wharf if they're still open. FM if you want more I could go on and on and on and on and on
