Stroller Question

I have the Chicco travel system and I'm finding that the infant seat isn't compatible with any double strollers and Chicco doesn't have a front/back double.

Did anyone else have this problem? Do you think I'm going to need to by a new infant seat???

Any recommendations would be great.

Re: Stroller Question

I had a peg perego and the carseat and decided to buy the graco quattro duo but it only took the graco carseat so I had to buy a new carseat too. I wasnt too angry since the carseat was really tight and the fabric was hot, I like the graco much better. But it is ridiclous how I had to spend more money on strollers.

Re: Stroller Question

I had the same problem also. I have a peg perego car seat and have the quattro duo tour. I was going to get the graco carseat but I actually still use my single stroller a lot still. I only use my double when I am going to stores where their are no shopping carts. If their is a shopping cart DD goes into the cart and DS sits at top of the cart and entertains DD.
My recommendation would be to find a double stroller you like and not worry about the infant carrier just yet. See how much you use the double and if you find you use it often and it is getting annoying taking your DC in and out then I would get another carseat.

Re: Stroller Question

I had a graco travel system with DD and when DS came along, I was panic stricken. Our first venture out, I laid him in the side by side double...obviously too small, but I didn't know what else to do--there was NO way I was doing the front to back Graco.

Well...on that venture, I saw someone with the same brand stroller, only a single, with a graco infant seat in it!! I asked her how that worked and she said the seat fits snugly but doesn't "click" the way it does in a Graco stroller!

Now I put our graco infant seat in our Combi side by side for DS but he's starting to sit up so I may be starting to just put him in the stroller too.

Re: Stroller Question

I had a graco travel system for number 1. I liked it alot, however when #2 was coming along I was not crazy about the front-backs.

We got the Peg Perego side by side and I like it. It's super light. And yes sometimes its a pain to take DS out of his carseat, but I'm happy with the stroller.
