movement
HI girls. I have a question, actually two. the first, last week I felt alot of movement, this week it is not nearly as much. I am 24 1/2 weeks. Is this a bad sign?
Also one of my feet and ankles are sooo swollen but not the other. I called the doc and they said its probably ok but I should come in for a blood pressure check. Why would only one leg be swollen? I know I am bad and dont drink as much water as I should
Thank you - Shari

Re: movement
You will definitely have days where the baby moves more than others...I cannot offer an exact explanation...but, it happened to me and I've read all over that this is totally normal.
Re the swelling of only one foot...that happened to me too...and I never actually saw the doctor for it...but, eventually both feet swelled up the same.

Re: movement
I STILL have days where she'll move a TON (like this morning when the dog barking woke her up) and days where I'll only notice it a little bit. As long as you feel something! Mention it to your Dr the next time you go in--when I did, they did a non stress test and a sono to make sure she was not in distress, which she wasn't.
As for the swelling....I'm no help as I have not swelled up (yet). Drink more fluids, try a warm bath, and lay on your left side. Keep your feet elevated, preferably above your hips when resting also....helps alot. Do not cross your legs at all, whether it be at the knee or at the ankle--this helps push fluid into your legs which causes swelling (my PG book said this-we just read week 31 last night)
