Dr's Appt today
I had a Dr's appt today as well as an appt for a bio physical profile and monitoring. Good thing is that at 37 weeks baby is measuring good...7lbs 6oz and the monitoring showed a good heartrate. She is in the 66% for weight which is pretty good considering I have GD. No contractions and the baby scored a 10 of out 10 for the BPP.
Bad news...I gained 6lbs in ONE WEEK
This totally through me for a loop...last week I had only gained 18lbs in total the entire pregnancy. My average weight gain has been less than 1 lb a week. Even my dr was in shock...my hands are swollen so he's thinking water retention. I am so upset...I've been home this week and last week but I didn't change my eating habits too much.
And on another good note since I'm so uncomfortable and I have GD...my dr. decided if she hasn't made her grand appearance we are scheduled for induction on Nov 12th

If you just started with sweliing the extra weight gain is from water, I had the same problem. I gaine dall my weight once the swelling started, not too much longer don;t worry about the weight gain, it will comeoff quickly if its water retention. GoodLuck
