After almost 8 l o n g months we FINALLY moved in and I have pics to prove it!! :):)

Thank you to everyone for their input on my many questions and thank you for the fms asking about the progress and wanting to see pictures. FINALLY I have some pictures in order.

I just want to publicly thank DH who worked so very hard on this house while still wroking FT and putting in lots of OT. What started as just turning a BR into a DR turned into tearing down almost every wall and rebuilding (he says he got "carried away" ) but I am very thankful to have an almost "new" house. The kitchen is the same and so is the small br....we plan to redo the kitchen in a few years but for now it's a little updated. BUT I asked for another bathroom (there was none upstairs and I NEED one during the night!!!) and he gave me a 1/2 bath, I asked for LOTS of closets and he added LOTS of closets (pantry, coat closet, linen closet, utility closet, 2 closets in upstairs br and 2 full plus two small closets in our room)...although I could always use more

Don't mind if there are no doors in some places, no molding on windows, no lights in some places (all highhats and kitchen), no radiator covers... it is still a work in progress.................

We also still need a DR set and kitchen table among other things.

OH and PS.....the kitchen is NOT as orange as it appears in the pictures....DH would have killed me

I love what your husband has done with the house. All of the closets are a big plus and the living room, dining room, and bathrooms look amazing.

Thank you! The house is in Oceanside. The funny thing is DH didn't KNOW he could do all of this stuff, he was just willing to try. I actually came home one day and found him reading the Home Dept book learning how to do things . His friend did the bathroom tilework but DH helped and we had an electrician and plumber do some things. Other than that it was literally all DH by himself .

Everything looks great! But the pic with vanity, it's probably just the shampoo bottles but it looks like there is a scary mask in the shower.

Beth it looks awesome.....I'm going to FM you my new address so that DH can come to my house next . Congrats on finally moving in....can you tell me the names of the colors in the living room and dining room...i need to pick colors this weekend.
