Also, how about making a brisket in the crock pot, or oven?

We always do Hanukkah. Last year for the main course we did it buffet style and just got deli meat like corned beef, and turkey and rye bread. I also made potato latkes and maybe I'll make a noodle pudding this year. We also got some stuffed cabbage.
For appetizers I think we did a mexican cheese dip and an artichoke spinach dip. And mini hot dogs.
And for dessert, we got munchkins and I usually make brownies or fudge or cupcakes. And I think we had some fruit and maybe ice cream too.
We're all over the place with our menu but those are some ideas!

make different kinds of latkes!
regular potato, sweet potato and zucchini!
dont forget to have both applesause and sour cream for dipping!
the more oily and greasy the foods the better!

oooooo! what time should DH and I come by?
the Hanukkah staple is latkes!
I found this recipe it sounds very close to the way my uncle makes them, and they're SO YUMMY! just leave out the chives.

We do Hanukkah ever year.
We always have a roast of some sort. I think last year was a Beef Tenderloin. it was so yummy, we might have it again next year. then the traditional latkes and noodle pudding. I also made a side of maple glazed carrots and a salad. Dessert was apple crisp.
DELICIOUS! Can't wait for this year.
