Boooo on preparing for conferences

I have their reading levels, as well as a sheet with their grades with strengths/weaknesses for each academic area (our report cards go home a week after conferences).

I also have some written work samples. Anything else I should have ready?

I've done this twice before, but I'm more anxious than ever for conferences this year. Help!

i would also jot down some info. to remind you to talk about their social/emotional growth, behavior, etc.

I prepare folders for each student every year with samples and running records and such

And the parents never even look at them when I pull them out

I think this year I'll just talk to them and let them know grades, behavior, and possible troubles in subjects.

With the folders I always go over my 15 min time limit and make other parents late anyway OR I have parents who just dont plain show up

Within 10 minutes there is no way I am whipping out their work, unless the child is a potential hold over.
