my dr says dont overindulge...
I drink chocolate milk, chocolate chip cookies,
and an occassional candy bar (snack size)...

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I craved chocalate. I would have some chocalate chip cookies one night or chocalate milk on others.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the caffeine in chocolate is that high...and if it is I guess I'm in trouble too...I've had chocolate milk, hot chocolate, chocolate ice cream, chocolate donuts...etc...all throughout this PG!!!

I have a choclate milk about 3 times a week. I figure the benfits of the calcium outweigh the chocolate. Everything in moderation...

When I was pregnant with Sarah, a study came out of England that said mothers who ate chocolate while pregnant had happier babies than those that didn't. That justified my need to have a little bit of something chocolate pretty much every day.

I was a snickers maniac when I was pregnant. Later in the pregnancy, guilt set in & I switched to white chocolate to avoid the caffeine.

Ate a small amount each day and seriously Jack is the happiest baby:)

LOL this thread should be called "How GOOD is chocolate really?" MMMMMM
I think the big thing is that chocolate has caffeine. DOnt forget to factor that into your daily caffeine intake.

I've had a strong craving for NUTELLA chocolate this pregnancy.
I'll sometimes make myself a nutella sandwich or just have a scoop here and there.
I won't indulge in any other caffeine that day either.
Everything is moderation is fine.
