if you really legally need it somewhere in 2 days, do overnight. I wouldn't risk a non-garanteed delivery date...

Pretty much. It depends how far the package is going. I once sent something from Manhattan one afternoon and it reached Holbrook the next day.

I've sent things to CA priority mail and it got there in 2 days. they say 2-3 to cover themselves, but I have always had things arrive in 2 days. I know that b/c I add delivery confirmation

My dad works for the PO and I needed to get s/t there within 2 days. I was going to send it express but he sent it priority and it was there within 2 days.
How far is it going? If it gets there sat instead of fri is it acceptable?
BTW, mine was mailed out in the late morning/early afternoon on a thurs and it was there sat.

Overnight it.
Especially if it's going inter-state or to a more remote location. Some more remote places, they won't even guarantee overnight - they'll guarantee 2 days. Don't chance it if it's important.
